Babushka Dog

I never knew that "Babushka Dogs" were a thing until my friend sent me this Buzzfeed post about it. As a result of seeing this cuteness, I had to babushka-ize Miss Moxie. 

Here's the little pooch, all decked out. 

Dog Park

We are lucky to have a very nice, small and well-kept dog park just a few blocks away. And Moxie has been thrilled to have space to run and friends to play with.

Often times, we take a stroll over to see who's around and who's playing. More often than not, we luck out and Moxie can have a little play date!

 

Christmas is Coming

In the blink of an eye we were prepping for Halloween. Now, we're on to Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is my favorite time of year and I relish the fun and festivity. 

Of course, I'm Christmas shopping (nearly done at that), and as you can expect, Moxie is not forgotten. I plan to post a pic of all her loot, but for now, here are a couple sneak peeks of her all decked out!

Marathon Day

We had a great day at our friend's in BK celebrating the NYC Marathon. We stood on the Park Slope sidewalks cheering on the runners, before scooting back inside to warm up and enjoy brunch. A fun day was had by all!

 

Halloween Fun

We enjoyed lots of themed photo shoots in anticipation of Halloween. And it's now - a month later - that I'm finally getting them up! Time has been flying, but we're back to blogging and there are lots of fun posts to come! But for now, here are a few from All Hallows'!

Frenchies of Instagram (and a Kitty Too)

From NYC to Cali, London to Japan, Moxie has lots of Instagram "friends" from around the world (more than her mom!). We love following the Frenchie adventures (and by "we" I mean "me"), indulging in their ultra-cuteness and seeing what these "bat pigs" are up to!

It's great to see the Frenchie love on Insta and it really seems like a nice community. In fact, the local NYC Frenchies had a recent meet-up in Washington Square (hosted by Polo) and it was even for a worthy cause (Breast Cancer Awareness Month). It was so good, they got covered by the local news!

Unfortunately, we were out of town for that meet-up, but look forward to the next one, which we'll surely join in! We also attended a non-Instagram playtime yesterday, at the School for Dogs and look forward to reporting back on Moxie's first day of fun (post to come soon)!
